The Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems , Faulty of Arts, Ain Shams University is cordially pleasured to announce the international workshop entitled “GEOMORPHOLOGY, GEOARCHAEOLOGY AND GEOHERITAGE: MODERN RESEARCH AND ADVANCED GEO-TECHNIQUES” co-organized with Aix-Marseille University-France.

 

The workshop is organized in the framework of joint scientific research cooperation project Imhotep 2018-2020, which entitled ““GEOARCHAEOLOGY AND GEOMORPHOLOGY OF ANCIENT RED SEA HARBOURS (Egypt)”. The major objective of this workshop is to collect scientists from inter-disciplines (Geography, Geology, Geophysics, Geoarchaeology, Remote Sensing and GIS) and present some modern researches from coasts, desert and deltaic environments. Through round table discussions the Egyptian young researchers will have the opportunity to experience advanced geo-techniques in the field of geomorphology, geoarchaeology and geoheritage.
